Katie Holmes reached out to Sandra Bullock for advice on her impending divorce from Tom Cruise.

The soon-to-be ex Mrs Cruise turned to her friend for a shoulder to cry on, as she went through her own divorce from Jesse James in 2010.
'They met years ago through their mutual friend, Keanu Reeves, and Sandra knows all too well about being in a bad marriage – she's been a real comfort to Katie,' a source told Star magazine.
According to the mag, Holmes, 33, decided she wanted out of her marriage to the actor last Christmas after she realised there was no hope for her if she stayed.
She then 'started talking very quietly to her lawyer', a friend added.
The final straw came when reports surfaced that Cruise, 50, was growing closer to Oblivion co-star Olga Kurylenko, 32.
The divorce may not be as drawn out as expected, as the couple's lawyers are reportedly finalising a full settlement behind closed doors.
The legal teams are trying to agree on properties, child support, visitation and custody of daughter Suri, six.
If they can agree, Holmes and Cruise would not need to appear in court. It would also mean Cruise would not try to move the case to California, where judges are more likely to award joint custody.
He 'doesn't want his family dragged through the mud – they love their daughter', People magazine said.
Holmes filed for divorce last month after five-and-a-half years of marriage.
