David Beckham is the first to admit he's had his fair share of dodgy hairstyles but says getting cornrows is his biggest faux pas to date.

The gorgeous footballer is always experimenting with his look having bleached his hair blonde and shaved it all off in the past.
The father-of-four has even sported a ponytail on more that one occasion but it's his edgy look from 2003 that he's struggling to forget.
Talking about his most cringe-worthy styles, he said: 'There have been one or two that were close to the mark, that I look back on and think were mistakes…

'I think the cornrows were something a bit different, but I was in holiday mode when I had them done – I was with a friend who's a hairdresser and who's very good at cornrows. So I thought, "Why not do that?".
Attempting to justify his serious misjudgement, he added: 'I think I'd had a glass of wine or two.'
The 37-year-old LA Galaxy star went on to explain that the mohican he sported in 2001 was also a no go.

'I wouldn't do them now, but at the time they felt good', he told ShortList magazine.
