Harry Styles and Caroline Flack narrowly escaped an awkward run-in after they were both spotted at Nick Grimshaw's 28th birthday bash.

The pair famously dated after meeting at an X Factor party last year, before splitting ahead of One Direction's US tour at the start of this year.
They haven't been seen in public together since their romance fizzled out but both have been linked to plenty of lovers since.

However, celebrating their mutual friend Grimshaw's birthday, they'd clearly had a good time as they didn't emerge from the celeb-packed party until 5am.
But luckily they managed to avoid an awkward rendezvous as while Caroline left the club from the front door, Harry managed to sneak out the back.

And it's probably a good job Caroline didn't bump into Harry on her way home as the 18-year-old heartthrob was surrounded by a bevy of pretty girls who piled into his taxi with him.
The bash kicked off at Soho's La Bodega Negra restaurant before the partygoers moved on to private members haunt The Groucho Club.
