Strictly Come Dancing contestant Jerry Hall has revealed her former flame Mick Jagger has been helping her select dance music for the live shows.

Glamorous Hall added that she wouldn't mind dancing to some of her ex-husband's tracks when Strictly kicks off next month.

Jerry said of her former flame 'He's been helping me with ideas for the music. I would love to dance to the Rolling Stones music if there's a dance suitable.'

Hall has been partnered with professional dancer Anton Du Beke, and she praised the Strictly Come Dancing regular for his dancing technique.

She said: 'He's so wonderful. He's elegant, he's sophisticated and he's the most beautiful dancer. And we're having lovely lunches together!

'My first dance is the cha-cha-cha and I love it. It's very flirtatious and lots of fun. And I'm so happy dancing with Anton as we're just having so much fun.'

The star added that her experience in the fashion world would help her win the trophy, despite admitting she wasn't that good a dancer.

'If you're going to do foolish things, do it with enthusiasm,' she told BBC Radio 2. 'I wouldn't call myself a natural dancer but I'm very good at posing.

'[Anton] says I'm bringing a lot to it with the modelling poise and experience.'

Other celebrity contestants on the show include Olympians Louis Smith and Victoria Pendleton, singer Nicky Byrne and Kimberley Walsh and actors Sid Owen and Lisa Riley.
