Fern Britton was told to start her Strictly Come Dancing training later to avoid having an unfair advantage.
The former This Morning host was told to hold fire on rehearsing with her partner Artem Chigvintsey, after bosses ruled that her stint on one of their Christmas specials could put her ahead of the competition.
While all the other celebrities began practising only hours after Saturday's launch show, the duo can't get going until Wednesday.
Last night Artem tweeted: 'Have to wait till Wednesday to start training! Anticipation is killing me. Roll on.'
Fern might be a little older than her competition, however she managed to take third position when she danced with Matthew Cutler during the 2010 special.
However, despite being 55, footage has emerged this week showing a 25-year-old Fern strutting her stuff in a spangly silver leotard, legwarmers and a gold belt on the 1982 BBC regional show That's Rich.
Her tap dancing performance was certainly enthusiastic, however the technique was perhaps not up to Strictly levels.
Speaking about her past dancing attempts, she said on Saturday's show: 'I did a tap dance routine on television many years ago. I remember I quite enjoyed it, but I have to say I've forgotten most of the steps. So I am starting from scratch with Strictly.'
