Simon Cowell has risen above Sharon Osbourne's claims that he has 'small penis syndrome' to reach out to her after her son Jack was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
The X Factor matriarch told how the pair buried the hatchet after she seemingly cut all ties with Si following his sex filled autobiography earlier in the year.
So forgiving Cowell hired the gutter mouth former judge to mentor with Louis Walsh at bootcamp in Vegas for the new X Factor series.
Revealing the truce, the 59-year-old said: 'We're like brother and sister. We row, then we make up. We love each other, then we fight, then we love each other, then we fight.
'But you know, one of the first people to reach out to me when Jack was diagnosed with MS was Simon. And that meant very much to me. Because it meant maybe he loves me, just a little bit.'
Si's olive branch came after Shazza lost it after his sex boasts about Dannii Minogue, when she ranted: 'I think he is a victim of small penis syndrome... It's not my business, I don't care, I'm not interested and that is not the reason why I left [The X Factor].'
Meanwhile, Osbourne says she initially blamed herself over her 26-year-old son's diagnosis.
Sharon said: 'Oh, yes. You go through the guilt, you go through the, "Is it me, was it me?", and you go through the family tree going, "Who died of what? Where did this come from?"
'I've become even more of a control freak. I think I'm driving him nuts. He's got a headache and I'm all, like, "Go to the doctors! I'll drive you myself!"'
