Jennifer Aniston is believed to be insisting on a pre-nuptial agreement prior to marrying Justin Theroux.
The 43-year-old actress announced her engagement to the Rock of Ages writer over the weekend, but she is said to be set on agreeing a pre-nup before tying the knot.
A friend of the former Friends star, who is reported to be worth around £80 million, told the Daily Star that she wants to keep her fortune safe should anything go awry.
'Jen's thrilled to be getting married but she's leaving nothing to chance,' the source told the newspaper.
'She wants to make sure all her assets are protected, especially with her track record with men.'
The source said that she won't agree to the marriage unless 41-year-old Theroux signs a pre-nup.
Aniston's father recently caused a stir when he claimed not to have been told anything about the engagement, before it was announced in the press.
This was later found out not to be the case, however, with the actress's rep confirming that he was merely staying on the safe side and not revealing anything.
Brad Pitt, Aniston's ex-husband, has reportedly already congratulated her on the engagement.
