Diver Tom Daley is reportedly set to appear on The X Factor following his success at the London 2012 Olympics.
The 18-year-old Team GB diving star has joined a number of other medallists, including Jessica Ennis and Mo Farah, in being linked to a special Olympic-themed week on the ITV show.
Hoping to cash in on the buzz throughout the country following this summer's Olympics, show bosses are working on an Olympics theme during the live shows.
Contestants will perform Olympic-themed songs and Team GB Olympians will reportedly be on hand to give performance advice.
Show bosses are hoping that Tom will be a big hit on the show and, according to The Sun, it is rumoured he could even be lined up for a more regular appearance on the ITV1 show.
'Tom is great on the telly and he'd really like to get involved in all the live shows in some way,' a source said.
'Ideas being kicked around at the moment include making him a roving reporter. He could take contestants out and about to film or be their personal trainer.'
It's claimed Tom, who won Olympic bronze in the individual diving competition, could earn up to £100,000 if a more regular appearance on the show is up for grabs.
It is thought Daley is interested in working with the show's presenter Dermot O'Leary, so could some sort of presenting role be on the cards?
