Cracks are beginning to show in this year's series of The X Factor just two weeks into its run, with the news that two of its judges are not seeing eye to eye.
Tulisa Contostablos is reportedly fed up with the behaviour of new panellist Nicole Scherzinger, who she believes is to keen to take centre stage at any opportunity.
A rift is already dividing this year's X Factor judging panel (ITV)
A show insider told the Mail on Sunday that Tulisa 'can't stand' Nicole and that the pair are 'already rubbing each other up the wrong way'.
'Tulisa thinks Nicole hogs the limelight, singing and getting to her feet during auditions. It really aggravates Tulisa. And Nicole fawns over Gary Barlow, getting really touchy feely with him at every opportunity,' the source stated.
Nicole's actions on the show have enraged Tulisa, who is used to getting things her own way, having mentored last year's winning act Little Mix.
The bad news for the feuding pair is that they still have several months of sitting alongside each other in the hunt for a singing sensation.
So far, viewers have only seen two weeks of audition episodes, but with the judges' houses and live shows stages still to come, fireworks between The X Factor's two glamorous mentors are likely.
