The young starlet appeared to have put her traumatic experience behind her as she strolled hand-in-hand with her fiancé Craig Monk through Heathrow airport yesterday.
Cher, 19, had been performing on stage at V Festival in Chelmsford when a reveller threw a bottle of urine at her.
After briefly exiting the stage, she was forced to cut her set short, disappointing her more loyal fans.
However, the pop star, who shot to fame on X Factor in 2010, held her head high yesterday ahead of a very important fixture in the US.

The Want U Back hitmaker looked happy as she strolled through the airport terminal as her hairdresser man held her hand tightly.
She was decked out in summer attire, ready for her arrival in sunny LA, wearing a monochrome shift dress that tied around the waist, displaying her many tattoos on her arm.
Cher teamed her cool look with her trademark bowler hat, dark sunglasses and a pair of black boot-shoes.
Craig dressed for comfort for the 10-hour flight, wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a baggy black sweatshirt.

Cher is heading to the US to perform on the Today show - a prime-time morning programme.
She is set to release her debut album Sticks + Stones on September 18 in her bid to crack the US.
Having notched up an impressive 1million sales of her debut US single Want U Back, which was confirmed last week, she's already made a dent in the American music market.
'It's so amazing Want U Back has sold 1million copies in America. My Brats rock, thank you!' she tweeted at the time.
