Rita Ora is returning to her homeland of Kosovo to play a gig after receiving an invitation from the president.
The How We Do (Party) singer, whose parents are Kosovar Albanian, will take part in the celebrations of 100 years of Albanian independence at the request of Kosovo's first female president Atifete Jahjaga.
The 21-year-old, who launched her debut album on Saturday, said: 'I have been invited to go back on November 28 so I may do a few acoustic songs for them as a surprise.'
Rita and her parents left the region when she was less than a year old due to the Balkan conflict, and she is looking forward to going back for the first time since she signed her record deal.
'She added: 'I used to go back all the time in the summer, but I've not been back for three years now.
My favourite thing about it is the people – they love life and enjoy themselves a lot, and are really supportive of me, which I appreciate.'
Rita, who recently topped the UK charts with How We Do (Party), also made her debut as an X Factor judge on Saturday night.
