Victoria Beckham's bid to be fun-loving has been torpedoed by Mel B after her Spice rival tweeted a string of miserable and unflattering pictures of her.

Scary gave Posh's manicured image a severe dressing down as she strung out their Olympics' jaunt by tweeting more unseen backstage images.
Mel, who is rumoured to rub Beckham right up the wrong way, tweeted an image of all the girls beaming in the back of a black cab on the way to the show with Mrs B's pout struggling to lift at the sides.

A second rehearsal revealed a make-up free Vic standing away from the girls and giving it some full welly on the microphone as the others smile on.
The last offering featured Baby, Ginger, Scary and Sporty smiling and excitably throwing peace signs as a surly-looking Posh lags behind in her oversized shades.

The images do nothing to kill off rumours that the designer was arm-wrestled into returning to her singing days for the Closing Ceremony and made clear afterwards it was for one night only when she tweeted: 'I was a pop star for the night!!'
In recent interviews she has done her best to insist she is a barrel of laughs, explaining: 'I suppose I am a little bit misunderstood by people who don't really know me and that's fine — it is what it is.'

The 38-year-old said her girlie new fashion range 'shows that fun sense of humour, that side of me that other people don't know exists.'
However, her Hollywood chum Eva Longoria says nights in with Mrs B are dull.

The former 'Desperate Housewives' actress said: 'People keep saying they're envious of my friendship with Victoria Beckham but we're pretty boring.
'We just talk about normal girl stuff and I borrow her clothes.'
