X Factor judges are braced for a fresh 'mental health' row after a rejected contestant went into complete meltdown.
They defended screening the furious wannabe attacking cameras and throwing the microphone in rage.
'Thousands of people audition every year and just because of one person who can't control their temper and throws a bit of a fit, I don't think it's a reason for everyone to go: "Oh my God. Got to think about the emotional stability",' said judge Tulisa Contostavlos, 24.
The youngest member of the X Factor judging panel also hit back at fellow judge Louis Walsh's claims that she was a 'chav'.
He had told the Radio Times: 'She is the bold girl next door who can really sing and I love her because she's the most honest judge I've sat next to.
'When they announced she was on the panel I was expecting a chav in a tracksuit – which is what we got – but she's a lot of fun. She thinks she's a bigger star than she actually is though.'
The N-Dubz star retorted: 'I'm not any less educated in music just because I'm a newbie on the scene… I still deserve my spot on the panel.
'When was Westlife last No. 1? Because mine was a couple of weeks ago. Ha!'
She added to Bliss magazine: 'Don't give me all that "selling millions of records" rubbish. Because how long ago was that?'
The X Factor relaunches tomorrow on ITV1 at 8pm.
