They've done a sterling job of playing down their little outings so far but Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis will struggle to explain their latest date after the pair were busted snogging.
The evidence was caught on camera when Kunis plonked herself on Kutcher's lap during a party to celebrate his film role as the late Apple boss, Steve Jobs.
Looking very much like a friend with benefits, 28-year-old Kunis stroked, caressed and cuddled the actor in front of other guests.
Kutcher was certainly not a happy bunny about being trailed with his new companion.
The actor tweeted: 'Apparently the privacy of your own home is no longer the privacy of your own home #societyfail.'
The seemingly loved-up scene follows a string of suspicious sightings after they were spotted arm-in-arm at lunch last month.
Until now, Kunis has professed she can't find a boyfriend but admitted she was forced to sneak around her lovers' houses to keep her love life under wraps.
She recently described gossip about her relationship with Demi Moore's ex as 'absurd'.
She later added: 'We've known each other for 15 years. We have mutual friends. We're comfortable with one another.'
The pictures are unlikely to ease Moore's reported troubles amid rumours the 49-year-old actress is trying salvage things with Kutcher, 34.
Eight months on from their split, Moore has coaxed Kutcher into therapy at an LA Kabbalah centre, according to insiders.
