Katy Perry appears to be edging closer to a relationship with US musician and famous lothario John Mayer, who she is said to have a serious crush on.

The singer, who recently divorced comedian Russell Brand, has spent several nights with Mayer in recent times, including this week when they met up for pizza.
Perry and Mayer are thought to be writing new songs, giving them plenty of opportunities to spend time together.
But, according to The Sun, the I Kissed A Girl star wants more than just Mayer's songwriting skills, as she is also a huge fan of his rugged good looks.
Guests at Soho House in Los Angeles, where they spent a night out last weekend, said the pair 'were all over each other'.
However, if Perry is to get her man it is likely that she will have to change Mayer's mindset, after he recently claimed he is planning to avoid a host of issues - including dating celebrities - in order to focus on his music.
Since splitting from Brand at the end of last year, the US singer has been linked with several potential boyfriends, including French model Baptiste Giabiconi and Florence And The Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd.
