One Direction star Louis Tomlinson made sure he attracted plenty attention to The Wanted's book when he was mobbed by fans in a pound shop, but later showed off his softer side and leant his support to Olympic diver Tom Daley.
One Direction and The Wanted have been competing in the British boy band stakes for some time now.
There's been plenty of tittle tattle as the groups battle it out for world domination and Louis didn't waste an opportunity to take a dig at the Chasing The Sun singers during a day out in London yesterday.
Dressed down in a beanie hat, T-shirt and jeans, Louis and his bandmate Liam Payne were browsing in the bargain shop with a camera crew in tow when they found a book on The Wanted on the shelves.
Standing in a crowd of frenzied fans, 20-year-old Louis grinned as he flicked through his find.
The One Thing singer giggled as he mused over the unofficial guide, ensuring his fans, and the cameras, got a good eyeful.
The boys then went on to Starbucks before settling down to watch Olympic hopeful Tom Daley compete in the 10m synchronised diving finals.
Tom and his partner Pete Waterfield finished in a disappointing fourth place but Louis told the GB star he was backing him to deliver in the individual competition, writing: '@TomDaley1994 mate, best of luck for the individual. I'll be watching !!'
