Freedom has failed to calm Helen Flanagan's nerves after the 'bawling' I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star locked herself in her hotel and refused to do interviews.
The 'overwhelmed' jungle babe was so anxious after being voted off she allegedly decided to pull the plug on a round of live TV interviews.
The Corrie star was meant to talk about her testing time on Daybreak, Lorraine and This Morning but pulled the plug at the last minute.
A source told Metro: 'Helen caused a nightmare when she pulled out of the interviews at the last minute. Producers were expecting to shoot three live links to the ITV shows with Helen talking about her jungle experiences, but they were told she was too 'emotional' to leave her hotel room.'
'Without any warning, producers were left to fill three gaping holes in their schedule – but thankfully Linda Robson stepped in to help at the very last minute.
'Everyone was stunned that Helen had pulled out, but we were told she was 'too tired and exhausted' to do anything.'
The blonde bounced back later to send tweets to fans, fearing that she'd 'committed social suicide' during her lucrative time in the outdoors.
She tweeted: 'I've felt so emotional today and completely overwhelmed and mixed emotions. I was so in love with my time in the jungle through the highs and lows and feel so blessed to have been able to take part in such an incredible life changing show. All I did was be myself.'
The actress added she was 'so overwhelmed' to see her folks and her Manchester City star boyfriend Scott Sinclair who 'I love so much.'
Singing out??? the star wrote: 'Can't wait to catch up with my tweets soon I love my twitter ha! X though sitting in my hotel room I defo feel like I've committed social suicide...'.
A spokeswoman for the show said the claims weren't true.
