Next year's Brit Awards winners could be waltzing off with a bit of formaldehyde in their hands after it was revealed death-obsessed artist Damien Hirst will be designing the trophy.
The 47-year-old dotty art legend follows in the footsteps of Dame Vivienne Westwood and Sir Peter Blake as other icons to have dolled up the trophy.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed James Corden, 34, will do the honours once more for the third year in a row and host the music bash on February 20 at the O2 Arena in London.
Radio 1 star Nick Grimshaw will announce all the nominees at The Savoy Hotel in London on January 10.
And Example, who's fourth album The Evolution Of Man is steaming ahead in the charts, is expecting to be snubbed when the shortlist is revealed.
He said: 'The Brits is very much a major label party and I'm on Ministry, which is an independent.
'Regardless of how many records I've sold or how much success I've had, they wouldn't acknowledge me.
'But I don't really mind because if you look at the Brits over the last four, five years, there's plenty of people who have won awards and then disappeared,' he told the Daily Star.
'Selling out arenas, churning out albums and hits, travelling the world... I don't care if I never win an award, I will still die a happy man,' he added.
