The Wanted's Max George has warned One Direction's Zayn Malik a fight between them 'won't last long'.
The shaven-haired singer delivered his warning when quizzed about the pair's squabbles on Twitter.
'I'm not sure what his problem is to be honest,' George, 24, told America's Radio 955.
'It started off that I thought we were just having a bit of banter, but he seemed to get a bit serious.
'You can only take so many insults and eventually I just said, "Alright, listen – if you've got a problem, come and see me in New York when we're there doing a gig together and we'll sort it out."'
The boyband rivalry escalated at the weekend when Zayn called Max a 'geek' after the Under The Sun singer posted a photo of himself posing with Usher.
The boys then exchanged a bit of banter, with The Wanted's Tom Parker and 1D's Louis Tomlinson wading into the spat later on.
However, things quickly turned sour when Zayn called Max 'chlamydia boy'.
Max then jibed: 'Tell me you're problems without the 8 security in NYC.. The only problem I have with you is the s*** banter. Grow up son.'
