James Arthur, Jahmene Dou8glas, Union J and Christoph Maloney are in for a treat s this weekend they will be joined by the one and only Rod Stewart on stage.
The 67-year-old rocker will take to the stage to belt out a track with the four remaining hopefuls James Arthur, Jahmene Douglas, Union J and Christopher Maloney.
Every Sunday at the start of the results show, the remaining acts perform a group track for the judges and audience.
And this weekend is set to be corker as Rod is joining them on stage.
It will be the perfect opportunity for Rod to plug his new album Merry Christmas, Baby as the four finalists and him will be getting into the festive spirit by singing a track from it.
The idea is to get Rod on the show to help boost the flagging ratings.
And it might just mean the X Factor results manage to beat BBC rival Strictly Come Dancing's results show which often beats it in the ratings war.
However, X Factor bosses are sure to have put Strictly's noses out of joint regardless of ratings as they have signed Rod up for a performance too but not until Christmas Day.
A source told The Sun: 'It is a big coup to get Rod - and to get him to perform with the contestants.
'He is an absolute legend and is a big fan of the show. He jumped at the chance of being able to perform.'
