Rylan may be out of the running to be crowned this year's champ but he's still got The X Factor tour to look forward to.

And the camp wannabe is confident it will be one to remember.

He told Metro: 'I can't wait to go on tour with everyone, I think that's when the real gossip will start because that's when we're in the real world and we're allowed to do what we want.

'It's gonna get dirty!'

And Rylan is determined to put on a show when he returns to the stage the his X Factor pals.

'I've learnt to use my voice properly now, it is nerve-wracking being on that show but now I'm in full control.

'I really really can't wait to bring something out that's going to shock a lot of people.

But until then, the flamboyant performer is looking forward to teaming up with his closest friend from the show, Lucy Spraggan.

'Me and Spraggan are reunited. We're both performing at G-A-Y on Saturday night.

'She's performing and I'm performing, it's going to be double the f***ing trouble and I can't wait.'

And Rylan is also glad he left the show on good terms with his on-screen nemesis Gary Barlow.

He explained: 'Every week after the show Gary comes up to me and gives me a massive cuddle and tells me how well I've done.

'I'm glad that he was true to his word. We made a pact and he said he'd be honest in the end, and he was. He said he thought I'd done well on the show and I'm glad that everyone sees that now.

'I'm so so pleased it all ended on a good note and I ended that show the same person I began just with a better voice. It was the perfect time to bow out gracefully.'

But it's not all been roses for the former Essex model these past few weeks.

'That chainmail vest they put me in [in week one]... Oh my God it sliced both of my nipples off. I had to wear tit tape for three weeks.'
