Former Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor has swapped one reality show for another as he has just signed up to this year's series of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.

The posh toff quit the hit Chelsea reality show in April claiming he didn't want to be remembered for being a reality TV star.

So his decision to sign up to I'm A Celebrity makes sense.

Hugo is used to the delights of King's Road, drinking at the Bluebird Cafe and shopping at the best of London's luxury labels.

Pippa Middleton marked the launch of her party planning book Celebrate in style, by modelling four dresses on the same day.

But now he's giving it all up to eat witchetty grub, shark's brains and crocodile penis - and he may even be forced to lay in a coffin filled with rats too.

Bosses are apparently hoping Hugo will decide to reveal all on his posh friends, including the likes of Pippa Middleton, as well as former cast mates Spencer Matthews, Jamie Laing and ex girlfriend Millie Mackintosh.

An insider told The Sun: 'Hugo is good looking and sexy — just what we want to help pull in female viewers. And, of course, if he chooses to reveal secrets about all of his posh mates then so much the better.'

A host of other famous faces have been rumoured to be joining in with the jungle fun this year, including Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan, Birds Of A Feather actress Linda Robson, darts legend Eric Bristow, ex-EastEnder Ricky Groves and former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.

But if viewers are expecting Hugo to turn on the charm and woo one of the ladies' in the Australian outback, they can think again as he's still dating model Natalie Joel.

Hugo previously spoke of his acting dreams as being a reason behind his departure from MIC, but his main reason was because he wanted to do something that was actually 'credible'.

Hitting out at reality shows, he said at the time: 'I'm quitting. It's a big gamble but I think I might have outgrown the show.

'I could wind up having absolutely everything or I could end up with nothing. But I've become lazy and comfortable on the show.'

And when asked if he's happy being known as a reality star, he continued: 'I worry about it every day. It's one of my main motivations for not doing a reality show anymore. I often look at what I've done and think, "S**t, did I completely sell out?"

'Staying on Made in Chelsea and bitching about the colour of someone's dress has started to become unimportant to me.

'I'm 26 - the show works better with people under 24. It becomes harder to do these shows as you get older. I started thinking I need to do something credible that I'm proud of.'

The new series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here kicks off on November 11.
