Gary Barlow's fellow celebs took to Twitter to offer support after he performed at the closing ceremony days after his child was stillborn.
Following the Olympic event, the Take That star was contacted by stars such as Lily Allen, David Walliams and Kimberley Walsh who were full of admiration for how strong Barlow is being.
Walliams tweeted: 'Gary Barlow. A brave man. And a national treasure,' while Lily wrote: 'I don't know how Gary Barlow does it. #amazing'.
Gary's fellow X Factor judge Louis Walsh also praised Barlow saying: 'Gary Barlow and Take That will be performing at the#OlympicClosingCeremony. RETWEET this to show respect to him in this tough time... '
Coronation Street's Michelle Keegan tweeted: 'So much respect for Gary. #2012closingceremony,' while Piers Morgan added: 'I don't know how Gary Barlow's had the strength to do this tonight - RIP his poor little girl, Poppy.'
Holly Willoughby wrote: 'Gary...don't know how to put it into words... Xxx', while Kimberley Walsh tweeted: 'Full of admiration for @GBarlowOfficial tonight.'
The singer's fans also flocked to Twitter in their thousands to praise the performance with many calling for Barlow to be knighted.
Gary and his fellow bandmates, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald sang their hit Rule the World at the end of the closing ceremony.
Fans had been doubtful about whether they would take to the stage after Gary's tragic news, however, they had been spotted rehearsing earlier in the week.
