Gary Barlow and his wife Dawn have said they are 'devastated' after announcing their baby daughter Poppy was delivered stillborn this weekend.
The Take That star and X Factor judge released a statement confirming the news.
'Dawn and I are devastated to announce that we've lost our baby,' the statement said.
'Poppy Barlow was delivered stillborn on August 4 in London. Our focus now is giving her a beautiful funeral and loving our three children with all our hearts.'
The statement added: 'We'd ask at this painful time that our privacy be respected.'
Gary and Dawn revealed in April they were expecting another girl.
The couple, who have been married for 12 years, already have three children, Daniel, 12, Emily, nine, and Daisy, three.
After messages flooded in from fans welcoming the news of the new arrival in April, Gary responded on Twitter by saying: 'What a lovely bunch you are. Thank you for all your kind messages. We are a very excited family.'
