Jennifer Aniston left her fans disappointed when she emerged for the first time since her engagement to Justin Theroux was announced with no ring in sight.

The former Friends star has stepped out just days after accepting boyfriend Justin Theroux's proposal of marriage after 15 months of dating.
Having no doubt celebrated her impending nuptials over the weekend, she was back to work on Monday morning as she made her first appearance since revealing the happy news.
She arrived on the set of her new film We are the Millers in Wilmington, North Carolina yesterday.

She was dressed for the summer in a loose-fitting grey dress and covered her face with over-sized shades while her hair was scraped back.
But rather than show off her latest piece of jewellery, she kept her hand well-hidden underneath a towel she was carrying as she made her way into her trailer.
At one point her hand could just about be seen underneath the towel though, allowing a glimpse of her bare left-hand where her engagement ring should have been.
It may be that Theroux was too nervous about choosing the diamond and the pair will go shopping for it together or perhaps she just didn't want to risk losing it on her first day back to work.

Screenwriter and actor Theroux, 41, popped the question on Friday which also happened to be his birthday.
The Friends star's spokesman Stephen Huvane confirmed the engagement to People magazine.
His spokesman added: 'Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage.'

The pair have known each other for years but found a spark in their friendship when they worked together on comedy Wanderlust. They then began dating in May 2011.
Aniston previously was married to Brad Pitt for five years but divorced in 2005. He is engaged to Angelina Jolie and the pair are set to tie the knot this weekend.
Aniston has previously dated actor Vince Vaughn, musician John Mayer, actor Gerard Butler and British model Paul Sculfor.
