Peaches Geldof has hit out at her weight critics on Twitter insisting she is a 'healthy young mum'.

The mum-of-one failed to contain her anger after she was accused of looking 'frail', 'gaunt' and 'worryingly thin' on a day out with her four-month-old son Astala in London yesterday.
An article claimed Peaches has 'raved about a liquid diet' in the past and suggests she may have reverted back to her old eating habits in a bid to lose weight.
Taking to her Twitter account this morning, the 23-year-old blasted: 'HOW is this 'too thin?' I look like normal mum out with baby.

'Also, considering I NEVER said those things about 'juicing' whatever that is, & stating that I don't eat is pretty much saying I am putting my own vanity before my babies well being (if i wasn't eating enough how could I have the energy to be looking after him well?) it's a backwards way of saying I'm too far up my own arse to care about my son.
'Honestly, you'd think they wouldn't stoop so low. I don't see any bones sticking out, I see a slim, healthy sized, happy young mum.
'But of course, writing the article and just saying that would be boring, wouldn't it?'

Peaches' mood soon lifted after she was bombarded with messages complimenting her on her wholesome physique.
She tweeted afterwards: 'However,reading the publics comments below the article, everyones saying I look totally normal & happy & to leave me alone. Thats lovely! :-)'
According to the offending story, Peaches had previously opened up about her drastic weight loss regime, stating: 'I do juicing. You juice vegetables and then you drink it three times a day. It's gross.
'I do it usually for about a month. I have no willpower but with the juicing I'm like, "I have to do it because I have to lose this extra ten pounds".'

Meanwhile, Peaches has been inundating her fans with photos of her little boy.
In one post she tweeted a photo of herself looking adoringly at her son, along with the caption: 'Me and Astala out to lunch.'
She also posted another snap of her rocker beau Tom Cohen and Astala enjoying the sunshine at the weekend.
She wrote: 'The hottest soon to be husband ever with the cutest baby ever just hanging out in the park.'
