Robert Pattinson will give his first TV interview since it emerged Kristen Stewart cheated on him with Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders next week.
The British actor has agreed to appear live on Good Morning America on August 15 in what will be his first public appearance since news of Kristen's infidelity broke.
The Twilight heartthrob is officially on the ABC show to plug his latest film, Cosmopolis, but the watching world will be looking for tell-tale signs and any insight he may give away surrounding the recent revelations.
R-Pattz is also due to attend the film's red-carpet premiere in New York and a scheduled press event with director David Cronenberg next week.
The American show is renown for its gritty interviews.
It was on Good Morning America that Charlie Sheen denied his psychological problems and Rihanna spoke about the domestic violence she suffered at the hands of her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
In an attempt to clear his name Brown appeared on the show at a later date and wound up storming off shirtless and smashing a window.
Pattinson is apparently currently staying with his Water For Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon at her California ranch, about 145km (90miles) from his home in LA.
And it would seem time away from the limelight is doing the 26-year-old good as he was reportedly spotted partying with friends at the weekend.
Summit Entertainment, the studio behind The Twilight Saga, has said Kristen and Robert's issues will not affect the promotion behind Breaking Dawn - Part 2, which hits cinemas on November 16.
