Stevie Wonder is calling time on his 11-year marriage to fashion designer Kai Millard Morris.

A spokeswoman for the 62-year-old music legend said the singer, whose real name is Stevland Morris, filed for divorce at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday.
A statement released on behalf of the estranged couple read: 'Today Stevland Morris filed for divorce, ending his marriage to Kai Millard Morris.
'As this is a private and personal matter, he asks that the public and the media kindly respect the privacy of Kai, his children, and family at this time.'

According to the divorce documents, the Isn't She Lovely hitmaker separated from Morris in October 2009 but has now decided to make their split official.
Wonder has cited irreconcilable differences and is asking for joint custody of their two sons, Kailand, 10, and Mandla, seven.
The pair wed in 2001.
Wonder was previously married to Syreeta Wright but they divorced in 1972 after just two years together.
