Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's divorce has been officially finalised, just two months after the mum-of-one walked out on the Hollywood movie star.
Their five-year marriage was signed off by a New York judge yesterday, according to reports.
The couple are thought to have begun negotiations immediately after Katie, 33, left the Mission Impossible star citing irreconcilable differences.
But as he gets over the shock of it all, 50-year-old Cruise is said to be pleased he can now move on.
A source told E! News: 'Tom is very happy and relieved that he is moving forward.
'His priority is being a good father and this settlement will make sure that continues.'
Katie is said to be getting primary custody of their six-year-old daughter, Suri, and Tom will get generous visitation rights and will be able to retain most of his money.
The former Dawson's Creek actress is thought to have received £9.5m ($15m) plus a house for her and Suri.
If their marriage had lasted more than 11 years, it has been suggested the A-lister would have received half of Cruises' £158m ($250m) fortune.
Katie and Suri will live in New York while Tom will divide his time between the Big Apple and LA for work.
Katie and Tom released a joint statement last month, saying: 'We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri's best interests.
'We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other's roles as parents.'
The couple started dating in April 2005 and a month later the Top Gun star memorably declared his love for the actress on the Oprah Winfrey show.
The pair wed in Italy in November 2006.
