Tulisa Contostavlos turned heads at the launch for The X Factor's new series in a multi-coloured dress that left co-judge Nicole Scherzinger in the shade.

Tulisa also used the launch to once again flaunt her daring blonde hair colour, which gives the N-Dubz front woman a whole different look.
The singer smiled for the cameras and the crowd as she strutted around in a clingy halter-neck dress adorned with green, yellow and purple stripes that showed off her curves.

Keeping her make-up minimal, she made sure that attention would be drawn to her fabulous nails that she had painted an eye-popping shade of turquoise.

Clearly wanting all present to notice her hairstyle, Tulisa opted for wearing her voluminous blonde tresses loose and wavy around her shoulders, giving her a touch of old school pin-up glamour.
Tulisa put her best foot forward in very high silver platform heels that kept her head and shoulders above the competition.
The competition, in this instance, was Nicole and Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack, with the Pussycat Doll deciding to play it down in a shiny, figure-hugging cream dress.

However, her strappy, vertiginous nude heels added a touch of vampish glamour to what would have otherwise been a plain and simple outfit.
Meanwhile, Caroline faded into the background in a black top with a white collar, and black shorts.
Hopefully both ladies will break out of their style shells once the live shows kick off.
