X Factor rejects Tae Blondo claim they were 'set up' by the talent show's producers, just like axed hopeful Zoe Alexander.
The girl group claim ITV bosses built them up only to be knocked down by guest judge Mel B and the rest of the panel on Saturday's show.
Lead singer Beth Wilson, 22, said she and her bandmates Holly Martin, 23, and Bethany 'Beau' Lamb, 27, were told to perform 1987 Guns N' Roses favourite Sweet Child O' Mine.
She also said they sailed through four London auditions, where show staff continually asked whether or not they would perform in their hotpants, before appearing in front of the judges in Manchester.
Beth said: 'Mel told us "You look like you belong in a Playboy mansion" and said the song was dated. Yet they were the two things they knew we would do.'
She also said the girls had been asked to talk about the former Spice Girl and that the footage had been edited to make them seem afraid of her.
'They've obviously done it to make Mel B live up to her reputation as Scary Spice. It was clearly a set up,' she added.
An X Factor spokeswoman insisted the show's producers do not try to orchestrate how auditions will pan out.
She explained: 'Contestants make their own decisions about what to wear and what to sing'
The allegations come after Pink tribute act Zoe Alexander claimed she was forced to sing one of her idol's hits after judges slammed her unoriginal song choice.
