The scruffy Brit made light of the situation by joking he now kips in a bin after he survived yet another awkward grilling about his personal life on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The prying host asked the screen vampire for a housing update, reminding him that the last time they met he claimed to be homeless.

The star answered: 'I still am. No, I rented this archway and I just live behind it. In one of those trash cans.'
His wisecrack came after removal vans were spotted shipping his stuff out of the Los Feliz mansion he shared with his Twilight lover after she hooked up with director Rupert Sanders.

Escaping the grilling over his love life, the 26-year-old revealed how his new obsession with cycling left him caught up in a dogging raid.
He said: 'I used to turn up at this parking lot looking at everyone like, "Why are all these guys sitting around in their cars all the time?"'
'And I'm going there everyday kind of thinking nothing of it, coming out in my little Lycra pants, and one day there was a big raid.'
