Christine Bleakley may have thought her and Frank Lampard's holiday to Los Angeles would be all shopping and sunbathing, so she probably didn't bargain for a football match to be in their itinerary.

The engaged couple were spotted taking a break from soaking up the LA sunshine as they sat in the crowds watching Lampard's former teammate Beckham's new team  LA Galaxy play.

But although the day out was probably one that Frank had decided upon, Christine certainly seemed to be having a good time anyway.

Cheering away as they watched from the sidelines, the former Daybreak presenter wore a massive beam on her face as she cuddled up to Frank in the seats.

Christine was dressed casually in a chic black dress and wore her hair loose while Frank opted for a blue-and-white chequed shirt.

The couple were there to see Beckham, who was suspended from the LA Galaxy match against Philadelphia Union after accumulating yellow cards in a previous game.

But David looked happy to be watching from the sidelines for a change as he laughed with his former England teammate.

Unfortunately LA Galaxy lost 2-1 to their rivals but it didn't put a dampner on the occasion.

Their visit to the Home Depot Centre in LA last night came as reports emerge that LA Galaxy are thinking of making the Chelsea midfielder an offer he can't refuse.

Frank currently has a £130,000-a-week contract with Chelsea but if LA Galaxy offer him a new one, this could end a year prematurely.

LA Galaxy owner Tim Leiweke previously said: 'I'm a fan of Frank's. I think he's a great player.

'When I think of Chelsea, I think of Frank Lampard. It took us two years to get David to come here the first time.'
