Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise were involved in a minor car crash in New York City when a truck smashed into their chauffeur-driven car, according to US reports.

There are no reported injuries from the accident.
Katie had collected her six-year-old daughter Suri from a gymnastics class in Manhattan's Chelsea Piers on Monday night just before the collision took place.
It is reported they were travelling in a black Mercedes sedan when a rubbish truck hit the side of their car at approximately 9.30pm.
According to New York Daily News, Katie and Suri were passengers in the vehicle and the only other person inside was their driver.
'It was nothing major other than the fact that it was Katie Holmes,' a police source told the site.

Apart from a large dent and scratches to the rear driver side panel, no more harm is thought to have been done.
Police were seen questionning the drivers of the two vehicles as they filed an accident report.
Suri had been enjoying an exercise class earlier in the day at Chelsea Piers, where she is often spotted.
Katie is clearly doing her best to keep her entertained after it emerged she is to divorce husband Tom Cruise, who is Suri's father.
The mother and daughter have been spotted out and about in New York a number of times, enjoying trips to the ice-cream parlour as well as various exercise classes.

Katie and Tom settled their divorce proceedings last week after marrying in 2006.
The couple then released a joint statement where they vowed they would both do their utmost to make sure Suri was happy.
'We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri's best interests.
'We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other's roles as parents.'
