Katy Perry could face court after an 'obscene' gesture she made on stage with Aussie cricketer Doug Bollinger during a performance in India earlier this year.
The indecent gesture occurred when the pop princess was performing on stage in Chennai for the opening of the Indian Premier League in April
And it has now been revealed that the complaint is set to go to court later this month after it was claimed she offended members of the Indian public.
Bollinger took to the stage with Katy as she performed and wrapped his arms around her waist as he showed her how to hold a cricket bat.
The Sun have reported the complaint was filed by a lawyer 'acting on the public's behalf'.
The lawyer claims the antics of Katy and Doug were 'obscene and lascivious' and they 'distracted students who were writing exams at the time'.
Neither Katy or Doug have been charged as yet and though the case will be heard on July 31, it is not thought either of them will have to attend.
Meanwhile, her ex-husband Russell Brand has continued to discuss details of their marriage, joking to chat show host Howard Stern the Teenage Dream singer was a big fan of 'wheelchair porn'.
Speaking to the shock jock on his Sirius XM radio show, he said: 'She was very willing to do wheelchair porn.'
He also went on to say that his marriage with Katy, which ended in December last year after a 14-month run, was like being on 'a diet of rice' and he felt he was 'let loose' when it ended.
Brand explained: '[I had] a little bit of a reaction.
'Like if you've been on a diet of rice for awhile and then suddenly Willy Wonka said, "I need you to run my chocolate factory."'
Meanwhile, it has been reported that despite his own marriage failing, Russell is keen to learn to marry others and is looking into becoming a vicar.
A source told The Sun: 'Russell is genuinely interested in the idea of marrying a couple.
'Now he's getting matey with Tom Cruise, his pals have been joking that he could do the honours at the star's fourth wedding.'
