Lily Allen is pregnant with her and husband Sam Cooper's second child, her dad has revealed.
Rumours have been rife since the beginning of the month that the singer is expecting and now it appears the speculation has been put to bed.
Appealing on This morning today, her father Keith Allen confirmed the news as he happily revealed: 'Yes, she is pregnant.'
Reports surfaced earlier this month suggesting Lily was pregnant and due to give birth in December.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: 'Lily has started telling her friends and everybody in her close circle is so excited for her.
'It was a surprise but Lily and Sam are thrilled. The pair of them have loved every minute of parenthood so far and wanted to expand their brood quickly. So it's great timing.'
Lily, who 'retired' from music two years ago, appeared with Professor Green at Heaton Park in Manchester earlier this month and was apparently nervous that fans would realise she was expecting a baby once again.
A friend said: 'Lily was sure people were going to cotton on to the fact she had a pregnancy bump but she seemed to get away with it thanks to wearing very baggy clothing.
'Her bump has popped out very early – far earlier than the last ¬pregnancy. She's been joking she feels six months pregnant already.'
Lily and Sam welcomed baby Ethel into the world on December 27 last year.
She revealed she was expecting her first child in June when she married Sam in a Gloucestershire wedding service.
Two years ago Lily and Sam suffered the heartache of a miscarriage six months into the singer's pregnancy.
She previously miscarried in 2008 as well when she was dating Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons.
