Penelope Cruz is believed to be expecting her second child with fellow actor Javier Bardem.
According to Spanish TV show Espejo Publico, the pair will be welcoming a new member to their family in the near future, less than two years after their first child Leonardo was born.
The programme claims that a source close to the couple confirmed that Penelope is expecting her second baby.
In a recent interview the Vicky Cristina Barcelona star admitted that she is having a great time as a housewife and a mother, describing it as the 'best thing in the world'.
Penelope also recently admitted she 'worries less' since she became a mother, leaving behind one of her favourite pastimes.
She explained: 'For me, having my son means I worry less. I've always loved to worry - ever since I was a little girl people would tell me I worry too much.
'But these days I really have to pick my subjects to worry about because there are only so many hours in the day.'
Thirty-eight-year-old Penelope married 43-year-old Javier in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas in July 2010, some 12 years after they first met on the set of 1992 film Jamon Jamon.
