Katie Holmes's lawyer has warned fans to be wary of stories about her and Tom Cruise's settlement insisting that all details will remain secret.
Rumours are circulating about what 33-year-old Holmes will get from the divorce but her attorney, Jonathan Wolfe, has revealed the terms will not become public knowledge.
'There are numerous inaccuracies in the reports regarding the purported contents of the agreement,' he explained.
'The agreement is confidential and its terms will not be disclosed.'
Holmes and Cruise, 50, announced on Monday morning that both sides had settled the divorce action just days after the actress filed papers.
It has been reported that Katie was using a disposable phone in order to keep the settlement details secret, throwing handsets away after every conversation with her divorce lawyers.
The estranged couple yesterday released a joint statement, saying: 'We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri's best interests.
'We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other's roles as parents.'
Holmes has been granted sole custody of six-year-old Suri, though Cruise is believed to be allowed to spend considerable time with her.
The pair are keen to put their marriage behind them as swiftly as possible, with the divorce being settled in a matter of days.
Wolfe praised the 'speedy resolution' of the legal matters, saying: 'This case has been settled and the agreement has been signed. We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.
'We thank Tom's counsel for their professionalism and diligence that helped bring about this speedy resolution.'
Tom was back in California yesterday, arriving at Mammoth Lake Airport before heading to a film set to shoot more scenes for his new sci-fi movie, Oblivion.
