Wayne and Coleen Rooney enjoyed a lovely day out with son Kai, who seemed to enjoy giving his footballer father the runaround.
Wayne got over a disappointing Euro 2012 tournament by chasing his young son around the park, and little Kai was loving every minute of it.
Dressed in a striped hoodie, blue jeans and black trainers, Kai was all smiles as he spent the afternoon with his mum and dad.
Coleen looked perfectly summery in a pair of oversized glasses, a red floaty top, red trainers and jeans as she mucked about with her son around the park.
The little family apparently met up with Coleen's parents in Liverpool before heading to the park to chill out before going back home.
The Rooneys were probably enjoying some down time after attending the party thrown by Wayne's former England team-mate Peter Crouch, where the striker reportedly showed off his singing talent on a karaoke machine worth £3,000.
Fashion designer Coleen recently praised footballer Wayne for his parenting skills, calling him a 'fantastic dad' in a touching Twitter tribute.
Col posted a picture of the star with his son Kai together with the caption: 'Happy Fathers day to @WayneRooney! Thanks for being a fantastic dad to Kai and looking forward to seeing you later!!!'
But the special Father's Day tribute did not end up going down well with some on Twitter.
One user tweeted to Coleen: 'its not hard to be a fantastic dad especially when he's on 250 grand a week.'
