Justin Bieber has taken to Twitter to express his support for Usher, whose son was critically injured in a jet ski accident.
Bieber, who has worked with the R 'n' B singer when he first came on to the music scene, tweeted to his 24 million followers: 'my prayers go out to @tamekaraymond and their whole family. keep them in your thoughts'.
He added: 'we are all blessed to have this time here together. to be able to share our lives together and live these stories. Dont take it for granted
'be humble, be grateful, give back, share, pay it forward, chase your dreams, go for it, and take a moment to remember where it is ALL from.'
Kyle, the son of Usher's estranged wife Tameka Foster, was struck in the head by a jet ski while riding in an inner tube on Lake Lanier, Atlanta, Georgia.
His 15-year-old friend was also injured and the pair were airlifted to hospital on Friday.
According to US celebrity website TMZ, Kyle has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to hospital and has now been declared brain dead by doctors.
It is thought no decision has been made as to whether or not to take him off life support. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
