Christopher Maloney may have escaped the chop on The X Factor this week but experts say his performance on Saturday featured more flat notes than any other contestant.
After Tulisa criticised the former cruise ship singer Gary cruelly fired back: 'I don't know what offends me more, your comments or the fag ash breath.'
But even with the ensuing drama Chris managed to once again survive the public vote on Sunday's results show, despite initially being pegged as favourite for the chop.
Text answer service 63336 used musicians with perfect pitch to analyse each act, counting the number of flat notes sung by every contestant.
Maloney was top of the pile with 10 'bum notes' during his performance, with Rylan Clark, Jahmene Douglas and Kye Sones ties with eight flat notes each.
Perhaps unsurprisingly Ella managed the best performance, with just two flat notes during her rendition of Evanescence's Bring Me To Life.
63336's Helen Wright said: '63336 used dedicated researchers to analyse each act, and found that Christopher Maloney really struggled the most this week.
'He was surprisingly even more out of tune than Rylan, who many people discount as the show's weakest singer.'
Maloney has been subject to widespread speculation regarding his behaviour backstage, with reports suggesting last week that he had been reprimanded for being 'rude' to the show's staff.
However this doesn't appear to have diminished his popularity with the public, with leaked reports suggesting he topped the public vote during the first two live shows.
