The retired cricketer has revealed the 34-year-old singer waltzes around backstage ogling himself in a mirror.
'He's never ever without a mirror,' Vaughan told Metro. 'He's always got one in his pocket. He's always looking at himself saying "Am I all right? Am I all right?" He's like that absolutely.'
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old former Ashes hero has admitted he asked to dance with 32-year-old Aussie stunner Natalie Lowe to renew his antipodean rivalry.
'I actually asked for Natalie. I mean, it's not fixed in any way shape or form but I'd done my research and realised that with Natalie being Australian and me being an England cricketer, it would be quite nice for England and Australia to go together.'
'She's a really good fun girl who gets stuck in,' he gushed. 'We've had some late, late nights in the dance studio... I think she likes it that I'm willing to give it a really good go.'
Vaughan continues to compete for the coveted BBC trophy against the likes of Kimberley Walsh of Girls Aloud, Olympians Louis Smith and Victoria Pendleton, and actress Lisa Riley.
During the live show at the weekend, former Eastenders star Sid Owen took to the floor for the last time as he and his professional dancing partner Ola Jordan were sent home.
