Stars from rival TV shows The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing stepped out on the red carpet for the Pride of Britain awards 2012.
Strictly and X Factor battled it out in the fashion stakes at the Pride of Britain awards, and each show had style hits and misses.
Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly pulled an Angelina Jolie by wearing a black gown with a dramatic slash to the thigh.
The sleeves were as sparkly as the outfits worn on the dancing competition she hosts.
She was joined by constant Lisa Riley who wore a floor-length purple and black dress with dancing partner Robin Winsor on her arm.
His dapper tartan suit was the perfect accompaniment to the Emmerdale actress' formal attire.
Professional dancer Ola Jordan, who was voted off Strictly Come Dancing at the weekend along with celebrity partner Sid Owen, kept her chin up as she posed for the cameras in a slinky red dress that showed off her toned figure.
Strictly host and TV legend Sir Bruce Forsyth graced the red carpet with his wife who brought old-school glamour to the event with her all white outfit complete with fur shawl.
Stars from The X Factor took on the competition from the BBC One show, with judges Tulisa Contostavlos and Nicole Scherzinger among the guests in attendance.
Tulisa, with fellow judge Louis Walsh on her arm, continued the demure vibe of dressing that we saw on the X Factor live shows at the weekend and chose an emerald green dress with a full skirt.
The top of the dress had a delicate lace neckline that wasn't revealing in the slightest.
Meanwhile, Nicole bought the seX Factor to the awards ceremony by wearing a long black dress with sections cut out on the torso.
The frilly halter-neckline stopped the judge from displaying her assets as much as she did in the body-stock she wore for the ITV1 show at the weekend.
Keeping her hair and accessories simple, she made sure that all the attention was on her unique choice of gown.
But it wasn't just the judges who were out in force. Contestants Chris Maloney, James Arthur and Jahmene were suited and booted for the event as well.
Jahmene went that little bit further with his suit, choosing to wear a dark blue velvet jacket for an extra touch of class.
The trio were all saved by the public vote on the X Factor results show over the weekend, so they definitely had something to celebrate.
Other celebs who turned out for Pride of Britain included Alexandra Burke, James Cracknell, Carol Vorderman, Amanda Holden, Freddie Flintoff and Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisolm.
