Kimberley Walsh is to take a leaf out of Ann Widdecombe's book as she gets set to fly across the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom for a spectacular routine.

The Girls Aloud star is pulling out all the stops for her salsa dance with professional partner Pasha Kovalev this weekend.

She will soar above the dance-floor on wires during her steamy salsa routine.

And according to reports, the 30-year-old star is elated she is the only the second celebrity dancer to attempt this stunt, following in the footsteps of former Tory MP Widdecombe in 2010.

Kimberley so far has been impressing the four judges - Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli - with her sassy routines and has escaped elimination for three weekends so far.

Luckily her boyfriend of nine years Justin Scott isn't the jealous type though.

Kimberley explained that although Justin hasn't met Pasha yet, he has no issues with her saucy dancing as she goes home to him every night.

'Justin hasn't met Pasha yet but he doesn't have any issues with us dancing together. It's everybody else who seems to have the issue,' Kimberley told Look magazine.

'This is what I do – I'm an actress as well. I've done loads of things with people on stage, and danced with men on tours. Justin gets it.

'He's so comfortable and confident – that's why I love him.'
