Axed X Factor hopeful Jade Ellis has blasted judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger for tactically voting her off to save 'weaker singers' Union J instead.
The 25-year-old singer, who was mentored by Tulisa Contostavlos, is the latest axed contestant to have swallowed a biter pill.
In her rant against the judges, she claimed she was unfairly given the boot because she posed the biggest threat to the judges' other acts.
Jade believes judges Louis, Nicole and Gary – all of whom chose to keep Union J in the competition instead of her – sent her home tactically, adding that she doesn't know what else she could have done.
'I don't think the decision on Sunday was based entirely on the sing-off. The judges were thinking about their own acts,' she said.
Jade continued to The Sun: 'I believe I sang that song to a really high standard and if that wasn't enough to save me I honestly don't know what I could have done.
'People have said my performance was better than Union J's, but Tulisa was out there on her own when she chose to put me through.
'The vote could have been tactical. Maybe the judges thought Union J were less of a threat to their singers in the competition.'
However, although Jade believes all of the judges have their claws out as they set their eyes on the final prize, she doesn't think the decision was an easy one for them to make.
'It is getting to that point in the game where the judges all criticise each other's acts. But whatever the reasoning, I don't think they did it lightly, she added.
Jade also made it crystal clear she isn't happy with Gary, as not only did he send her home, he also claimed he felt he wanted her to succeed in the competition 'more' than she did.
Jade explained: 'You could tell by my reaction on the night what I thought of that comment. I don't agree at all.
'Maybe he wanted me to look a bit more desperate for it. But I'm a calm and collected person so I wasn't going to show what he was looking for.
'He was probably the only judge that I didn't speak to afterwards.'
Purple-haired Jade also took the opportunity to stick up for her mentor Tulisa after she was embarrassed by Barlow on Saturday's live show when he declared she had 'fag ash breath'.
Jade said: 'Tulisa was giving her opinion on the vocals. There was no need to be so personal.'
Tulisa hit back by accusing Gary's breath of smelling of red wine though.
Jade added: 'I haven't seen Gary drinking red wine with my own eyes but I think that's officially something that goes on in the dressing room, not outside.'
Although her X Factor dream may now be over, Jade admitted she is happy with her success on the show and is now looking forward to her career.
'I'm happy to have achieved what I have on The X Factor and I'm going to carry on,' she said.
