Gary Barlow 'vows to quit The X Factor to concentrate on Take That' Oct 11th 2012, 10:52 Gary Barlow has reportedly vowed to quit The X Factor to concentrate on Take That as his row with fellow judge Louis Walsh rumbles on. (Picture: PA) Head judge Gary is reportedly planning to quit the ITV juggernaut when the current series wraps up to focus on his musical comeback.  The revelation comes after Gary had a run-in with veteran judge Louis on Sunday's results show. Louis refused to save Carolynne Poole over Rylan Clark, who Gary has described as a 'joke act', and the pair have not yet made up. The singers are apparently looking to head back to the studio to crack out a new album at the end of 2013 with a stadium tour pencilled in for 2014. 'The events of the last week have really confirmed in Gary's mind that he needs to get back to what he loves best,' a source revealed. The band are apparently trying to synchronise their schedules in time for a reunion next year (Picture: PA) The insider added to The Sun: 'A new album and tour have been discussed and all five of the boys are making really positive noises.' There's been some doubt as to whether Robbie, who releases his new solo album Take The Crown next month, would be up for a reunion, but it's thought he will have finished with his own tour commitments by then.
