A man found trespassing at Miley Cyrus's Los Angeles home armed with a pair of scissors has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.

Jason Luis Rivera was yesterday sentenced by superior court judge Dennis Mulcahy after a jury convicted him of misdemeanor trespassing and resisting arrest.
Police say 40-year-old Rivera told officers he was a friend of the star when he was arrested on September 8.
Rivera is said to have thrown himself repeatedly against an outside wall in an attempt to break in.
And as Miley, 19, tries to move on from the terrifying ordeal, her fiancé Liam Hemsworth has proved their solidarity with a new tattoo to match hers.

Miley had an extract from one of Teddy Roosevelt's speeches tattooed on her left forearm in the summer and Liam has continued the former US president's words on his own arm.
Miley's tattoo reads: 'So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.'
Liam's continues: 'If he fails, at least fails while daring greatly.'
And yesterday the Hunger Games star posted a photo of their matching inkings online.
