X Factor wannabe James Arthur has been given performance tips by Mary J Blige after she learned he would be performing her song on the show.

The US R&B star called the 24-year-old wannabe when she found out he'd plumped for No More Drama for tonight's Love And Heartbreak-themed episode.
Fortunately The X Factor camera crew were on hand to film the call which will be shown ahead of his performance tonight.
'This is just blowing my mind right now. I'm such a big, big fan,' an awestruck James told her, before asking: 'How would you advise me to do what you did with the song and do it justice?'

She replied: 'Sing the song like you want something to change in your life, like you really, really wanna change something and that's it.
'Nicole [Scherzinger] was raving about you – you must be amazing. I don't wanna wish you luck, just go get it.'
Meanwhile, it would also appear that the quirky singer has set his sights on a duet with Plan B after he retweeted a fan's message suggesting the pair hook up.
The fan tweeted: 'Actually love @JamesArthur23, reminds me so much of Plan B! Need to sing a plan b song so baaaad #longlostbrothers #duettogether.'
