Gary Barlow has been busy in the studio with his chosen acts for The X Factor while Tulisa lives it up in Ibiza.
Barlow tweeted that he had spent the day in the studio with his chosen acts Kye Sones, Carolynne Poole and Melanie Masson, adding that he was happy with the trio's vocal talents.
The singer wrote: 'Spent all morning with my Overs Category ! @Kyesones1, @CarolynnePoole @MelanieMasson1 Sounding great guys x'
Tulisa, who has been given the girls this time around, chose to jet off to Ibiza but still supported her acts from abroad.
'I'm raving in Ibiza but I still have X factor on the mind' she tweeted, encouraging X Factor fans to vote for her wild card act Amy Mottram.
Tulisa's acts this year are Jade Ellis, Ella Henderson and Lucy Spraggan. Having won the previous series of The X Factor with girl band Little Mix – the first band to ever win the show – will the N-Dubz front woman be able to repeat that success?
Louis will be taking on the groups this year with his acts GMD3, MK1 and Union J, while Nicole Scherzinger will be handling the boys – James Arthur, Rylan Clark and Jahmene Douglas.
This series of The X Factor saw a rise in ratings this past week as the judges picked their chosen three to go through to the live shows, with a view to one of them being eventually crowned the X Factor 2012 winner.
Sunday night's show drew in an average audience of 9.6million, making it the highest average ratings figure since this series began.
