The McFly star, who won the hit BBC1 series last year, reckons the Team GB cyclist has much much more to give, providing she can conquer her TV jitters.

He said: 'Victoria has a lot of potential and she hasn't nearly fulfilled that.

'She did better this week but I could tell she was still nervous and she needs to conquer that.'

Asked whether he had any advice for the Olympian, Harry said: 'You'd have thought I'd be asking her because she has nerves of steel when she's performing as an athlete.

'Nerves get you focused, so it's about not letting them get the better of you.'

But if Victoria doesn't get to grips with her dancing abilities, the drummer also has high hopes for the 'amazing' Denise Van Outen and Kimberley Walsh.

Meanwhile, Harry has revealed he doesn't have much sympathy for his old professional dance partner Aliona Vilani, who was voted out of the show last week alongside Johnny Ball.

'It's a shame but she won last year so she can't complain too much,' he told The Sun.
